Getting started

Affilert watches your affiliate links around the clock and tells you the moment one breaks, gets stripped of its tracking tag, or sends shoppers to a dead page. Here is how to get up and running.

1. Add a source

A source is anywhere your links live — a website, a Linktree, a YouTube channel description, or an RSS feed. From the dashboard, open Sources and click Add source, then paste the URL.

We crawl the source, discover every affiliate link on it, and start tracking each one automatically. You can also add links manually if you prefer.

2. Review discovered links

Newly found links land in Links with an *unreviewed* badge. Skim the list, confirm the ones you care about, and ignore anything that is not really an affiliate link. Confirmed links are the ones we monitor most closely.

3. Set up alerts

Open Settings → Alerts to choose how you want to hear about problems — email digests, immediate alerts for critical breakages, and more. We only ping you when something actually needs your attention.

4. Watch your health score

The Overview page shows your overall link-health percentage and surfaces the issues costing you the most revenue first. Green is good; anything else is worth a look.

That's it. Once a source is connected, monitoring runs continuously in the background — no further action needed.
